This was a project to transfer user information, emails and other items from a Joomla based social networking site to an eMeeting based site.

It involved the creation of SQL scripts that created views on the data in the original site so they looked identical to the data structure the new site, extract the data from the old site and to import it into the new site. PHP was also used to deal with differences in list values between the two systems making the index translation and a couple of translations into mask values. ImageMagic was used to copy photos of the users and to create thumbnails from the images. This was driven by a bash script (linux shell script) created by the PHP code. Longitude and Latitude information was looked up and stored by another PHP script. THe whole process was controlled by a bash script.
